Flos took Gustave on a journey to three restaurants in Berlin, New York and Mexico City to test its design and adaptability in different environments. Each Gustave finish is carefully selected in collaboration with Van Duysen to match the restaurant's identity and interior. This versatility makes Gustave perfect for all styles and settings.

Rosetta - Mexico City
Rosetta, owned by Elena Reygadas, is described as a ‘living organism’. Located in a large villa in Mexico City's Roma neighbourhood, the restaurant offers a menu based on fresh seasonal ingredients. During the day, guests enjoy a tropical atmosphere surrounded by plants and natural light, while at night, dim lighting creates an intimate and mysterious atmosphere. The Gustave lamp fits in perfectly here and contributes with its pleasant light distribution.

Saga - New York
Saga, run by Chef James Kent, is located on the top floors of an art deco building in New York. The restaurant has an intimate setting with spectacular views of the city. In the evenings, the space is lit with warm hues that create a candlelit atmosphere. The Gustave lamp adds to this experience with its warm and cosy lighting that perfectly matches Kent's focus on creating the right atmosphere.

Lode & Stijn - Berlin
In Berlin, Lode van Zuylen and Stijn Remi run a small restaurant with a focus on natural ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere. Gustave fits in perfectly here with its subtle lighting that doesn't overwhelm, but instead creates a cosy and unifying experience for guests at the table.

Gustave is equipped with an exclusive optical technology that distributes light asymmetrically 360° around the lamp. This technology makes it ideal for tables with up to four people as it ensures even and high-quality lighting. Whether you choose Gustave for your home or restaurant, it offers multiple control options, including touch dimming and battery operation, making it both functional and elegant.

Gustave is available in two versions: one for home, which charges via USB-C, and one for restaurants, where the batteries can be easily replaced to avoid interruptions in service. Both models have multiple light settings to ensure uniform lighting and create the perfect ambience.
