5321- Tynell Table lamp

5321- Tynell Table lamp

5321 is a charming little table lamp that takes clear inspiration from nature with its shell-shaped lampshade. In beautiful brass, the designer shapes the small functional lighting object - and as a nice little detail, the bulb inside the shell shines like a beautiful pearl.

9602- Tynell floor lamp

9602- Tynell floor lamp

9602 is the oldest lamp in the series - it was designed in 1938. The "Chinese hat," as the lamp became known, proves that Paavo Tynell was capable of much more than -just- metal - and the beautiful, airy shade, available in both canvas and braided willow, makes for a soft and warm lighting object that never goes out of fashion.

1965 Tynell pendant light

1965 Tynell pendant light

1965 was originally designed in 1948 for Finland House in New York, like so many other works by the Finnish designer. The pendant is an example of Tynell's excellent ability to create light and elegant brass creations, and features the triangular perforation pattern that Tynell often used in his lighting objects. It is equipped with a frosted glass diffuser that softens the light and creates a subtle and calm atmosphere. The pendant is available in brass as well as white, black and Chianti red - and even in a version where it hangs with a counterweight that makes it easy to change the hanging height.

9464- Tynell Wall Light

9464- Tynell Wall Light

Designed in the early 1950s, the 9464 is a great example of Paavo Tynell's ability to transform lighting into art. Once again, perforated brass is given the starring role - and the designer's vast material experience shines throughout the lamp, just as the light does through the many small perforated holes.
