Zanini de Zanine
Zanini Zanine was born I Rio De Janeiro, were he also studied industrial design. As son of designer and architect José Zanine Caldas, who often collaborated with Oscar Niemeyer, he grew up surrounded by design projects.
In 2002 he graduated from Puc-Rio University, and quickly began designing with pieces of wood he found at construction sites. In 2005 he started a whole new series of industrial furniture made from wood, metal and plastic.
He has received numerous prestigious Brazilian design awards for his creative thinking.
In 2011 he started “Atelier Zanini”, gathering all the best from the design world and allowing him to work on all of his projects.
He designed the Flora lamp for SLAMP.
