Illumin

The exciting DIY lamp was designed by Danish Frank Kerdil. His design builds on the idea that you should be able to change the design of your lamp if you need to. When you buy the Illumin lamp—also known as the Pineapple—it comes with 40 quadratic sheets that make up the lampshade, a polished acrylic frame, a three-metre fabric cable, and a unique rosette suitable for all walls up to 45 degrees. When the lamp is assembled, the acrylic frame is practically invisible, and the finished lamp is reminiscent of a pineapple.

The lamp is available in a range of colours, and if you want to change it up, you can always replace the sheets to create a new expression without having to replace the entire lamp. The Illumin pendant is great for lighting up the dining table on its own or in a pair.
