Beautiful custom designs from British Buster+Punch, combining technical beauty with solid design craftsmanship

A new, talented lighting company has found its way to Lampemesteren and is impressing everyone with its raw, industrial aesthetic, transparent expressions and custom designs where every nut and bolt is carefully considered and nothing is left to chance. The name is Buster+Punch and the company began as a custom motorcycle workshop in East London. The workshop's owner was Massimo Buster Minale, an architectural graduate who quickly developed an eye for detail and was able to combine his background as an architect with his experience in the workshop. The successful results of Minale's flair and talent quickly grew in popularity, as did the demand for his products. In 2013, Minale decided to open the lamp company Buster+Punch, which is based on the same principles as the engine workshop: every single detail of Buster+Punch's creations is designed by themselves, and therefore every single part of the lamps is also visible, allowing every hand-drawn detail to come into its own.

Uniquely, Buster+Punch also makes their own designer light bulbs. As most of the company's lamp designs are shadowless, Buster+Punch has realized the necessity of an aesthetic and presentable light source to complement and refine the overall lamp design. While most other lamp manufacturers largely ignore the bulb itself in their lamp designs, Buster+Punch has created an entire collection of design-oriented bulb models that retain all the practical qualities of conventional bulbs. All the bulbs have tinted glass in smoke grey, amber gold, and more, and a visible light tube inside through which the LED light is emitted in a soft, pleasant glow.
