Seletti Lamps

With unusual pairings, references to art, and constant focus on development, Seletti is a brand that stands out from the crowd. These days, Seletti is owned by Stefano Seletti, who collaborates with designers like Studio Jobs, Snarkitecture, and Note Design Studio to create personal and fun designs in the form of furniture, lighting, and interior design.

The Italian company associates pop-art with playful design inspired by everyday objects – but always with an unexpected twist. Regardless of whether you look at Seletti lamps or Seletti cutlery – knives, forks, and spoons with  wrenches on top, developed in collaboration with the fashion brand Diesel, this is clear to see.

The Story of Seletti Began at Local, Italian Markets

Seletti was founded in 1964, when Romano Seletti imported tin mugs, plastic table cloths, straw mats, etc. from the Far East and sold the products at local markets in Italy. Stefano Seletti started working for his dad when he was just 17 years old, and these days, he owns the distinct brand. He quickly began to develop his own ideas, which primarily consisted of replacing ordinary, everyday objects with unusual, decorative ones.

Since the beginning, Seletti has been in a state of constant development, but the company has managed to stick to its values of getting as much as possible out of professionalism, service, and never-ending product research. Seletti strives for improvement, innovation, and originality when combining everyday objects with experimental and daring design.

Stefano loves his work and often takes it home, which he and his wife have decorated with an abundance of colours and an extravagant selection of products by Seletti.

Amongst the most successful lamps by Seletti, we find the Seletti Monkey Lampe, designed by Marc Antonio. It is a stellar example of decorative design with personality and a sense of humour. The small monkey carries a bulb in its hand and keeps us company, all the while expressing our desire to live happy and carefree lives.

With references to pop-art and avantgarde, the creative designs allow you to add a unique, personal, and fun touch to your interior design.
