Ionna Vautrin found inspiration for this small table lamp in lighthouses and the ventilation shafts on ships. These were elements that surrounded her during her childhood, when the sea played an important role in her life. When Foscarini asked her to design a lamp, it was obvious to her that she would incorporate these elements into the design. Binic is the name of the lighthouse in her hometown, and the light is also reminiscent of the light from a lighthouse.
The Binic table lamp by Foscarini is versatile and can be used in both children's rooms and living rooms. The lamp is like a breath of fresh air for your interior, partly because of its comic-like shape, but also because of its fresh colours.
