Inspection Upon Delivery

We kindly ask you to inspect your parcel promptly upon receipt. Please check that the correct item has been delivered, that it is undamaged and that all components are included.

If you identify any discrepancies or damage, please notify us as soon as possible and preferably within 14 days of delivery.

If your parcel or its contents appear damaged upon arrival, please submit a claim using the unique link provided with your order. Click “Claim” at the bottom of the order status page and follow the instructions.

You will be asked to provide photographs of the external and internal packaging, including the shipping label, as well as clear images showing the damage.

We take great care when packaging your order to minimise the risk of damage during transit. Submitting the requested photographs will help us assess your claim and find an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.

I recommend using the revised inspection wording above instead of saying that Lampemesteren “cannot assume responsibility” after 14 days or is “not liable” for transit damage. Those statements should be legally reviewed before publication because they may conflict with customers’ statutory rights.
