Should I choose a garden lamp with LED?
Garden lamps with LED provide excellent light and we carry a wide range of them here at Lampemesteren. It’s important that a garden lamp is durable and well-designed for its purpose- That’s where our LED garden lamps come into their own, since they’re some of the toughest lamps available. Another advantage to LED lighting is that they save energy compared with other light sources and can cope with being left on for long periods of time – ideal for a lamp that might be in use for half a day or longer. LED is a perfect choice for outdoor use – create a mood and be practical at the same time. Garden lamps with LED can be used in almost any outdoor environment in they can tolerate all sorts of weather. You can place them on the facade of your home, on or around your terrace, in your flower beds or someplace else entirely. We carry garden lamps in a variety of different shapes, sizes, colours and materials, so have a look through our wide selection. Many of the garden lamps in our range can be used with LED bulbs, including lamps from brands including Light-Point, Seslef, David Superlight, Colors and many others.
A new garden lamp – galvanised or black?
It’s entirely up to you own taste whether you choose a garden lamp with a galvanized finish or in black, although the difference between them is more than just their colour. Galvanised garden lamps are inexpensive to maintain and are usually designed specifically for outdoor use. Hot-galvanised garden lamps are also environmentally friendly. Galvanised products are very durable and have a long lifespan. A galvanized finish is sliver-grey in colour, so it works well in many different situations and can almost disappear into its surroundings. Black garden lamps look great in an outdoor environment too. One small disadvantage is that a black finish can look dirty over time, but that’s easily solved with a cloth, a bucket of soapy water and a little elbow grease. Otherwise, black garden lamps are just as durable as galvanized models.
