Oluce

Oluce was established in 1945 and is nowadays known for being the oldest surviving lamp manufacturer in Italy.

The company develops lamps in partnership with modern designers but has not left its original collections behind—the award-winning Spider is still available. Coupé by Joe Colombo and Atollo by Vicco Magistretti are some of Oluce’s most famous products.

Oluce lamps

Although Oluce’s simple and retro designs are not amongst the most popular the market has to offer, the company has bragging rights for having produced some of the most iconic lamps in design history. Many of these lamps are part of the permanent collection at MoMA.
