The A811 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1965, making it the last in his series of floor lamps. The lampshade, made of hand-turned steel, has a base made of metal slats that conceal the light source and ensure that the light does not dazzle. The white lampshade reflects the light in the upper lampshade and emits a diffuse downlight through the gaps between the slats. Perfect for atmospheric lighting next to the sofa or your favourite armchair.
This high-quality floor lamp is equipped with a leather-covered base and stand. A811 also features a vertical tube in nickel or brass.
