IC C/W2 Double Ceiling Lamp/Wall Lamp Burgundy walks the line between simplicity and elegance whilst juggling form and functionality. The centre of the lamp is a perfectly rounded glass ball, balanced on a slender, black stand, creating a proud expression and an amazing contrast.
Michael Anastassiades, the designer behind the collection, came across a clip of the young juggler, Tony Duncan. In the video, Duncan was spinning with a set of balls, moving them around his arms, and running them along the edges of his fingers. Anastassiades was almost hypnotised by Duncan’s talent, and when he suddenly saw the balls lying still on Duncan’s arm, he wanted to capture the magical moment! That served as the inspiration and starting point for the IC Light collection.
The wall lamp is part of an innovative collection that focuses on simple, light design. As you can see here, the collection consists of pendants, floor lamps, table lamps, and wall lamps with a timeless expression that makes them fit for incorporation into various styles of décor.
