A typical bento is packed in a small container with divided compartments separating the different items it contains, often with a lid so you can take it to work or a picnic. Bento actually comes from the Chinese word biandang, which means practical! Smart!
There's no doubt that the popular food inspired Los Angeles-based designer Adam Miller when he designed Abento for Blomus. The smart tray is compartmentalised, just like a typical bento, and comes in beautiful light wood with two feet for easy pick-up.
