Almendra S3 Pendant Primer Anthracite - Flos

Almendra S3 Pendant light Primer Anthracite is an extraordinary design that is unlike any other. Design company Flos and designer Patricia Urquiola have collaborated on this one-of-a-kind lamp that makes people stop in admiration. The Almendra lamp is a modular lighting system whose shape and colour are reminiscent of an almond tree, from which the design takes its name. The unique and aesthetic lamp has been an ambitious project in terms of design and materials, resulting in a juxtaposition of poetry and sustainability that can only be achieved through sublime design and cutting-edge technology.
The Almendra design comes in a variety of stunning finishes and colours, so you can get exactly the version that best suits your interior design. The series consists of an S2 Short and S2 Long Pendant with two petals at each end of the "stem"; S3, S4 and S6 Pendant are composed in a linear row of either 3-6 petals; S2 Y Short Pendant and S2 Y Long Pendant both have petals at one end in a beautiful Y shape.
The Almendra S3, S4 and S6 Pendant lamp consists of either 3, 4 or 6 petals named A, B, C, D, E and F, which can be assembled in a system of your choice to create your own design expression and personalised lamp to suit your needs and style. the A blade faces downwards, B can be rotated -60°, C can be rotated -120°, D can be rotated upwards, E can be rotated +120° and F can be rotated +60°. Therefore, D(up) + A(down) + D(up) can work well together to create a balanced lamp. OBS that the combination of for example D(up) + A(down) + B(-60°) DOES NOT work together, as there will be an imbalance.
Common to all the different Almendra lamps is, among other things, their sustainability, as each individual part of the lamps can be disassembled and reused. The petals are also made of a special polycarbonate made from a residual product from paper production, which gives the lamp a sustainable edge that is fundamental in the modern design world. They also all have a Kelvin of 2700, which means they emit a warm white light colour that creates a cosy and relaxed atmosphere throughout the room. In addition, the light can be dimmed in all the lights so you can get exactly the light intensity that suits your needs and mood.
