Navicula Pendant Small Bamboo - David Trubridge

The Navicula Pendant Bamboo Small is an incredible masterpiece by David Trubridge. Just like so many other designs by David Trubridge, this pendant is inspired by nature – and, more specifically, by the many microscopic diatoms that fill our oceans. His idea was to create a curved pendant, but the first time he assembled it, he found that it twisted all by itself – it was as though the lamp had a mind of its own from the very beginning, and so he let it have a say in the design.

The pendant is primarily made from the sustainable material that is bamboo, which has been CNC cut and assembled using Nylon clips. It’s available in three sizes: the small at 1.5 metres, the medium at 2 metres, or the large at 2.5 metres. This means that the impressive pendant can be used to create a good atmosphere in the living space or a lovely, eye-catching feature at an exhibition or in a large hallway. The floating structure of the lamp creates a magical pattern that is distributed into the room, adding a welcome artistic expression.
