PH 2/1 pendant light, Ø 20 cm, chrome, glass - Louis Poulsen

The PH 2/1 lights are members of the 3-lampshade family, which today consists of 20 lights, including 3 outdoor lights. Poul Henningsen designed the 3-shade system back in 1925-1926, when PH collaborated with Louis Poulsen to design the first lights for an exhibition in Paris. Throughout his life, PH sought to design lights that spread glare-free light, shine where the light is needed and create soft shadows.
PH therefore designed not just a light, but a complete system, and over the years around a thousand different models were produced. The numbers of the PH lights refer to the shade sizes.
