The Melt Portable Table Lamp Black is a pretty and practical addition to the beautiful Melt series by Tom Dixon. The idea behind the series was to create a "perfectly imperfect" design. This is reflected in the flowing, asymmetrical shape of the light, which gives it an organic and naturalistic look. The light is manufactured using a method called vacuum metallisation, which gives the light its unique, dynamic appearance. When switched off, the surface of the lampshade is reflective, allowing you to enjoy this work of art from morning to night, while when switched on, the light appears like a molten fireball.
This model is cordless and therefore suitable for carrying between different rooms or outside on the patio. The built-in LED light source can shine for up to 10 hours before it needs to be recharged.
