Another great addition to the aesthetic Globe series from Verner Panton now comes in a mini edition

Since the lamp was designed and conceived back in 1969, Globe has stood as one of the highlights of Danish design. The mastermind behind the incomparable lamp is the iconic Danish lighting master Verner Panton. Panton's ambition for the Globe was to design a lamp that could catch the eye and unify a room, whether it hung alone or in clusters. This goal has resulted in an incredibly versatile lamp model with a clear and concise design language that is both simple in its design and detailed in its decor, and which fits into countless spaces.

At 28 centimeters in diameter, VP Globe 28 is the smallest lamp in the Globe series. The pendant makes a beautiful figure on its own but can also be easily clustered with the other Globen lamps, which are available in several different models with varying sizes, colors and materials. This creates an exciting interplay between different sizes and coherent design.

The decorative pendant is named after the distinctive globe shape, which in this version comes in transparent, crystal clear acrylic with five internal reflectors suspended by three steel chains. The clear and shiny aluminum color scheme is complemented by splashes of red and blue in a beautiful shading that is all the more apparent because the colors are used sparingly. When you turn on the lamp, the bulb lights up and reflects the insides of the aluminum reflectors, creating indirect lighting that is distributed softly and glare-free into the room.
