This is how Danish designer Philip Bro describes his new creation, Orbit V2 Portable, which he designed in collaboration with Danish lighting company Umage. The lamp combines various timeless elements that make it a modern looking lamp with a classic touch. The milky white oval shade has a clean and undisturbed surface that is beautifully complemented by a curved handle in a sleek brass finish, resulting in an extremely appetizing decorative lamp that also impresses with surprising functionality and durability.

The table lamp is wirelessly designed and has an IP44 rating that protects the luminaire from the effects of wind and weather. As a confirmation of the durable design, the light manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty on this model. The built-in LED light source is powered by a battery that has a lifetime of up to 22 hours. The lamp can then be charged with the included micro USB cable.

When the lamp is on, the light comes through the milky white surface of the shade, spreading it out and preventing glare. The entire screen is therefore illuminated in a brilliant, uniform glow that provides a glowing, almost ethereal, all-round illumination. The lamp has a smart tilt function that allows you to switch between three different light settings, depending on how bright you want the light intensity to be. Here you can vary between a warm white light that has a deep, warm and calming effect, a universal white light and a daylight white glow.
