New Products from Artemide: Alambicco, Ilio, and New Colors for Nesso & Nessino
Sometimes light says more than words ever could. With Artemide's new products, this season makes its way into your home in more ways than one—in glass, in form, and in color.
First up is Alambicco: a series of pendant and wall lamps that Scottish designer Neil Poulton has dedicated to the centuries-old art of Venetian glassblowing. Each lamp is crafted using the traditional Balloton technique, in which small pyramids are dipped into the hot glass, creating organic shapes that produce a delicate interplay of light and shadow. Whether as a horizontal arrangement above the dining table or as a vertical accent in the hallway—Alambicco transforms architecture into a serene work of art made of hand-blown glass.
The new Ilio floor lamp by Ernesto Gismondi features clean lines: a slender, cylindrical aluminum body that is stripped down to the essentials and gently casts its light upward. Minimalist, understated, yet a statement piece in the room.
Two classics are also getting a fresh look: The Nesso and Nessino mushroom lamps are now available in purple, burgundy, and black—rich, bold hues that give the iconic ’60s design a contemporary twist.
Three new products, one philosophy: light as an expression of craftsmanship, form, and character.
