03 WHITE NEBULA wall light, stoneware, height 44 cm, E14 - Serax

The Nebula wall light by Serax, designed by the Zurich-based Ottawa studio, combines ceramic craftsmanship with an expressive, contemporary design language. Two softly rounded ceramic elements form a harmonious composition that emits a pleasantly diffused light. The glossy surface of the ceramic enhances the gentle lighting effect and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Inspired by the delicate contours of floating nebulae in the night sky, the light exudes both tranquillity and elegance.

The design is the work of designer Nadine Ottawa, whose studio is renowned for a modern yet homely aesthetic. Her work is characterised by a successful blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. Following numerous projects in the hospitality sector, she turned her attention increasingly to handmade ceramics and developed pieces that impress with their natural charm and meticulous craftsmanship. The resulting collections are particularly prized in hotels and restaurants.
