A201 Pendant White/Brass was designed by the architect Alvar Aalto who originally designed the lamp for the City Council Library in Säynätsalo, Finland. The cylindrical lampshade has an upper lampshade that looks like a halo—typical of Alto’s design. The lamp has a sculptural aura that looks lovely whether the lamp is on or off.
The comfortable downlight is perfect for lighting up the dining table or kitchen counters. The perforated inner ring is coated with brass. The golden shade gives the light a warm glow before it’s reflected into the room.
