The A440 Opal pendant lamp has a beautiful sculptural quality whether the lamp is switched on or off. The pendant lamp is a further development of Alvar Aalto's classic Golden Bell pendant lamp from 1954. It is made of hand-blown glass with a silky matt surface that emphasises the light and elegant expression of the lamp.
When the light source illuminates the white glass, it emits an even and diffused light into the room. The opening at the bottom allows a striking light to illuminate the dining table or kitchen table.
