The A811 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1965, making it the final piece in his range of floor lamps. The lampshade, made of hand-turned steel, has a base of metal slats that conceal the light source and ensure the light does not dazzle. The white lampshade reflects the light within the upper part of the shade and emits a diffused downlight through the gaps between the slats. Perfect for creating atmospheric lighting next to the sofa or your favourite armchair.
This high-quality floor lamp features a leather-covered base and stand. The A811 also features a vertical tube available in nickel or brass finishes.
