The light from XXX produces a characteristic, symmetrical and functional light. The Saturn ring reflects the light downwards, while its positioning allows light to pass through, creating a soft uplight. The anti-glare ring prevents horizontal glare, and the glass shade is available in a clear and a partially matt version to suit the choice of bulb.
The Albertslund Wall was designed in 1963 by Jens Møller-Jensen for a residential area in Albertslund. The wall light is based on the same design principle as the Albertslund light – namely the anti-glare ring, the three struts and the Saturn ring, which serves as a reflector.
Albertslund has a simple lighting technology, but with a big impact.
