Bit Hocker, black/multicoloured, height 42 cm – Normann Copenhagen

The Bit Stool by Normann Copenhagen and designer Simon Legald is a beautiful and versatile piece of furniture that can be used for almost anything you can imagine.
The first thing you notice when you see the Bit is its texture and finish. If it’s the black or white version, you might think the Bit is made of stone – but the material is much more modern and contemporary than marble or granite. The chair is made from recycled plastic – and that’s also why it comes in so many different colours and with such exciting textures.
The small, Greek-column-inspired shape can serve both as a stool for a quick seat, and as a side table for the sofa, a small bedside table, or a pedestal for a vase or other decorations.
The Bit Stool is made from 100% recycled plastic sourced from industrial and domestic waste. The stool is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can withstand temperatures ranging from -10°C to 50°C.
