Helpful information
When purchasing an LED bulb, please note the following.
The luminous intensity of an LED bulb is measured in lumens rather than watts.
15W = 140 lumens
25W = 250 lumens
40W = 470 lumens
60W = 800 lumens
75W = 1050 lumens
100W = 1520 lumens
The RA or CRI value is also indicated on the bulb. The higher the value, the more natural the colours appear. The value can range from 0-100 RA, with 100 RA corresponding to daylight.
For a residential building, we recommend a bulb with a CRI of at least 80 RA.

The Kelvin rating, on the other hand, describes the colour appearance of the light.
8,500 – 10,000 K = Cold blue
7,000 – 8,500 K = Cold white/blue
4,500 – 7,000 K = Cold white
3,000 – 4,500 K = Neutral white
1,000 – 3,000 K = Warm white
The light from a tea light has a Kelvin rating of approx. 1,500 K, direct sunlight approx. 5,500 K, and the blue sky approx. 10,000 K.
