The Calipso ceiling light is a stunning lighting fixture from Artemide, designed by Neil Poulton. With an almost honeycomb-like appearance, the Calipso ceiling light casts a fantastic light and has a completely unique visual expression compared to other ceiling lights of the same size.
The unique expression that distinguishes Calipso is created in an equally unique way: Images of the moon's surface were entered into an image-based algorithm on an almost extinct computer – it doesn't get any more special than that!
