The lamp is composed of a series of arched steel tubes, each of which holds its own oak plate—and like leaves on twigs, the designer Christophe Matheiu has drawn on natural shapes and figures for inspiration. When the light is on, the texture of the lovely oak discs comes into its own, and the light is cast gently onto whichever surface is lucky enough to be illuminated by a Discocó.
