G-10 Pendant Black - GUBI
The G-10 pendant in Black was designed by Greta M. Grossman in the 1950s. The pendant is characterised by its industrial look with its raw surface and clean lines, which are expertly contrasted by the soft and feminine silhouette of the product. The lamp is reminiscent of the women’s hats that were all the rage in the 50s. With a touch of humour, Grossman’s design encourages experimental setups, including using the lamp on its own or as part of a cluster. The pendant is also well-suited for suspension on its own and would work especially well over a dining table.
The G-10 lamp was manufactured in America and Grossman’s home country of Sweden. This was Grossman’s tenth product for the original manufacturer Bergboms, hence the name G-10.
