Gräshoppa table lamp, grey metal/textile, E14 - GUBI

The latest addition to Greta M. Grossman's Gräshoppa collection, presented by Gubi, reinterprets the renowned designer and architect's iconic table lamp design in a modern way – with an elongated lampshade made of natural canvas. Inspired by archive photographs of an early prototype, this new edition of the popular series of lights lends a fresh, textile character without altering the distinctive features such as the slanted stem and round base in polished brass.

The newly designed lampshade harmonises with the curved lines of the original, gently expanding the light field and ensuring pleasant diffusion. Its flexible alignment allows it to be adjusted to suit different lighting needs – ideal as a stylish reading lamp, for example. With its warm, atmospheric light, the light blends effortlessly into a wide variety of interior styles and elegantly complements the existing edition with a steel shade.
