Kaiser Idell is silversmith Christian Dell's take on a Bauhaus Design lamp series, and it doesn't get more original than that.
The Kaiser Idell pendant lamp, here in model 6631-P, is precision engineering and top craftsmanship that with its unique and very high quality exudes originality, but also a unique sculptural quality and a stringent clean design.
The entire series is centred around the patented swivel joint and the highly distinctive lampshade, which is easily recognised by the proud inscription at the top proclaiming that this is a genuine "ORIGINAL KAISER idell".
The original lamps in the series were offered for sale as early as 1936, and to this day they epitomise fine German design, exquisite material selection and precision engineering.
