The Kina pendant light is an incredible masterpiece by david trubridge. It is inspired by the shape of local sea urchins, which are often washed up on the New Zealand coast. Here, sea urchins are also known as ‘Kina’, which is where the pendant light takes its name.
It is not only through the light’s design that the designer expresses his love of nature. His respect for nature is also evident in the creative process, production, logistics, distribution and much more.
