The 304L40 wall light has an extraordinary design history. Its roots go back to 1922, when Bernard-Albin Gras developed the first designs for his iconic series of lights. Originally intended for offices and industrial environments, the range impressed with its simple, robust yet ergonomic design. The characteristic construction was realised without the use of screws or welded joints.

The lights in DCW’s Lampe Gras series epitomise the successful fusion of functionalism and aesthetics. The individual elements – from the arms and bodies to the fittings and the assembly of the components – were designed with exceptional precision and originality.
