The Melinda Solar Lamp Grey is an excellent outdoor model for night-time orientation. Made of stainless steel with a discreet graphite grey finish, the lamp has an IP44 protection class that makes it resistant to the elements.
This model has a built-in solar panel.
The lamp therefore does not need to be connected to the mains but works via pure solar energy. The lamp has a twilight sensor that detects when darkness falls. The solar-powered LEDs can light up for up to eight hours. This means you don't have to worry about switching the lamp on and off or worry about rising electricity bills, as the lamp's design eliminates such problems.
The LED light shines out from a clear cover at the base and from a matt white ring on the fixture, creating a decorative light pattern on the wall. The body of the lamp slopes down at the top, where the solar panel is located, so any rain is effectively deflected.
