Pleat Pitcher is a functional jug with a sculptural expression. New Works’ designs often combine opposites: old and new, light and dark, and so on. This lamp is a mesh of traditional and modern, in the form of a familiar jug with a highly modern expression.
The cylindrical silhouette is made of polished steel and has a minimalist expression, only broken up by a natural fold that serves as a practical spout. The spout is made by pulling on the edge and forcing a small dent. For this reason, no two jugs are exactly the same.
