Rituals XL Table Lamp - Foscarini

Rituals XL Table Lamp appears with a core DNA as a collection of different yet complementary lamps when you look at the entire series. It conveys the magic of the well-known oriental rice paper lamps, but the use of classic Venetian mouth-blown glass with a super exciting chalky effect spoils the viewer.
The intriguing "cuts" in the surface are created by innovating the traditional grinding technique used to finish this exciting material. The graphic effect that appears on the surface helps to mesmerise and seduce, while bringing to mind other more perishable materials, such as rice paper stretched over a flimsy bamboo skeleton.
