The Super Vase H16 Glass/White is a well-executed piece of design by Piet Hein. The vase is modelled on the super ellipse - a mathematical curve that forms a rectangle and an ellipse at the same time. This inspiration reflects Piet Hein's skills as a mathematician, which feed into his work as an inventor and designer, and together create a good, solid piece of craftsmanship with a lot of clever thinking behind it.
The vase is made of glass and is available in several different versions. It comes in several sizes, all available in both clear glass and opal glass. The Super Vase's clean, unified shape gives it a beautiful artistic quality that makes it an aesthetic design in itself.
