Toldbod 250 Pendant Light Blue-Grey - Louis Poulsen

The Toldbod 250 pendant light in blue-grey is part of a series of pendant lights in different sizes. This version measures 25 cm and fits perfectly above the dining table or kitchen island, where the downward-facing light provides comfortable illumination. By combining the pendant lights in different sizes and colours, you can create a completely unique and decorative style.
The pendant light was introduced in 2018, but we already encountered its predecessors, the Toldbod 280 in 1982 and the Toldbod 155 in 2006, an outdoor wall light and a bollard light in the same timeless design.
The pendant light is based on a lighting concept by the legendary Poul Henningsen. The concept was originally intended for street lighting, but it was soon realised that it was also perfect for interior lighting. The pendant light emits an even and circularly symmetrical light, illuminating the surroundings without glare – in keeping with Poul Henningsen's philosophy. The classic and simple design is in line with Louis Poulsen's lighting philosophy: "The simpler a design, the more user-friendly it is."
