PD2 Floor Lamp White - GUBI
The PD2 floor lamp in White was designed by Barba Corsini in 1955 and intended to form part of the décor at one of the most prominent residential buildings in the world: La Pedrera in Barcelona. The inspiration for the base of the lamp came from the arched ceilings in La Pedrera, whereas the lampshade was inspired by the cylindrical shapes and uniquely perforated details of the chimneys.
The PD2 standing lamp has a strong yet simple character, which is an apt description of Corsini’s style of design. It is well-suited for any modern home.
