The PH PH 5 Shades of Grey pendant light was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen (1894-1967), a pioneer in lighting design who devoted most of his life to taming electric light.
The world-famous PH 5 was designed in response to the constant changes in the shape and size of the traditional light bulb. Regardless of how the light is installed and which light source is used, the PH 5 is completely glare-free.
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this timeless icon, Louis Poulsen has launched the PH 5 in the same exciting colour palette as the PH 5 Mini, which, with a diameter of 30 cm, is a smaller version of the 50 cm PH 5 introduced in 2017.
The PH 5 is available in a wide range of vibrant colours. The different shades of the light's five lampshades create a dynamic, graduated effect that enhances the visual impact of the pendant light
