AJ Floor Lamp Warm Grey - Louis Poulsen

AJ floor lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu) and formed part of the overall design for the hotel. Today, several of the hotel's products have achieved the status of design icons, and within lighting, the AJ lamps in particular have become world-famous.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Arne Jacobsen's iconic design, Louis Poulsen has launched a new and dynamic colour palette for the popular AJ Table, Floor and Wall lamps.
Colours can affect us physically and stimulate our senses. Colours can be used to separate, organise and label things. In addition to black, white and light petroleum, the new collection consists of seven colours: dark green, ochre, rust red, midnight blue, aubergine and two grey mid-tones. The colours are closely linked to Arne Jacobsen's own universe and have been carefully selected based on how the colours best highlight the essence of the AJ lamp.
User-friendly, comfortable, lasting and useful lighting.
AJ floor in white has a luminaire head with a characteristic asymmetrical shape that determines the luminaire's lighting properties. The luminaire head of the AJ floor lamp can be tilted up and down. With its unique design language, the luminaire is a modern classic.
A unique profile that is easily recognised worldwide, with roots dating back to 1960 when SAS Royal Hotel was launched as a total design that has now achieved cult status.
