Verner Panton’s Flowerpot VP12 floor lamp: a design classic from 1969
The Flowerpot VP12 is a floor lamp that captivates with its simplicity and iconic character. It was designed in the late 1960s by the Danish architect and designer Verner Panton, whose visionary furniture and lighting designs made a significant contribution to shaping the style of the 20th century.
The VP12’s distinctive lampshade consists of two metal hemispheres – one larger and one smaller. Their unique arrangement ensures precise light control: glare-free, soft and perfectly distributed in the area beneath the light. Thanks to the E27 socket, the floor lamp is also compatible with a variety of bulbs.
