Flowerpot VP3 by Verner Panton: A classic table lamp since 1969

The Flowerpot VP3 table lamp is one of the iconic designs by Danish designer and architect Verner Panton. At the end of the 1960s, he developed a series of lights called Flowerpot, which – like many of his works – had a decisive influence on the style of the 20th century.

The characteristic lampshade of the VP3 consists of two hemispherical metal parts, one smaller and one larger. Their arrangement ensures that the light is optimally directed: glare-free and with pleasant, even illumination of the area below the light. The monochrome colour scheme and soft, rounded design are reminiscent of the style of the 1960s and 1970s, yet remain modern and timeless to this day.
