Flowerpot VP4 designer table lamp: A timeless design by Verner Panton from 1969

Against the backdrop of the Flower Power movement of the late 1960s, the Danish architect and designer Verner Panton designed a series of lights – the name was chosen deliberately. Flowerpot embodies the spirit of an era in which conventions were challenged and new creative paths were explored.
The table lamp impresses with its simple design language, which nevertheless appears well thought-out and sophisticated.

The VP4 variant in particular has become a design classic: Two steel hemispheres of different sizes form the characteristic lampshade and produce a pleasant, glare-free, softly diffused light.

The lamps are manufactured by &Tradition, a company dedicated to combining tradition and innovation. The manufacturer reintroduces iconic designs such as Panton’s classics to the market, as well as modern designs that have the potential to become future classics in their own right.
