Flowerpot VP7 Hanging Light, Dark Plum – &Tradition

Flowerpot VP7 Pendant Light in Dark Plum – Iconic design with atmospheric lighting

The Flowerpot VP7 pendant light in Dark Plum is an iconic design classic which, with its soft, glare-free light, creates an elegant and cosy atmosphere – ideal above the dining table or in the living area. It is deliberately designed as atmospheric accent lighting and is not intended to replace central room lighting.

The distinctive double shade produces a gentle downward beam of light whilst simultaneously diffusing it pleasantly throughout the room. This creates a balanced combination of functional light on the table surface and atmospheric ambient lighting. With its well-proportioned size, the VP7 makes a statement and defines the style of the room without dominating it. Installation is via a fixed ceiling connection.

To achieve a harmonious overall look, we recommend the appropriate number of lights depending on the table size:

Up to approx. 140 cm → 1 light
160–200 cm → 2 lights
Larger tables → several lights or a combination with smaller versions

Using several pendant lights ensures a more even and high-quality lighting effect.

The Flowerpot series was designed in 1968 by Verner Panton. Inspired by the Flower Power movement, it combines playful lightness with a clear design language. The iconic double shade continues to make the light one of the most striking and timeless designs in the international interior design world.
