The Melia ceiling light in grey-brown/white/grey/chrome is an original take on the classic ceiling light, as it features not just one, but three lampshades. The colour scheme sticks to neutral tones that harmonise well with one another and are very popular in modern lamp designs. The lampshades are arranged in such a way that they appear to be stacked on top of one another, creating a partial overlap. This gives the light a relaxed, casual look that suits both modern and bohemian-inspired interiors.
Behind the three lampshades are three E27 sockets arranged in a circle. They can be used with a wide range of bulbs, from traditional incandescent bulbs and halogen bulbs to energy-efficient LED bulbs. When the light is switched on, the light shines through the lampshades – whose fabric surface makes the light cosy and diffused – as well as through the opening at the base and the gaps between the three lampshades.
