Opal Lamella Pendant Light – sculptural opal glass
The Opal Lamella Pendant Light by Warm Nordic, designed by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen, combines soft opal glass with a clear, graphic metal structure. A cylindrical opal glass lampshade is surrounded by precisely cut slats of lacquered metal, which give the light depth and rhythm without compromising the lighting effect.
Subtle brass details emphasise the sculptural character and lend the design a warm touch. The pendant light is suitable for use above the dining table as well as in living or working areas where uniform, pleasant light is required.
Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen was a key representative of Danish lighting design in the post-war period. He is particularly known for his masterful use of materials such as metal and opal glass, as well as for his clearly proportioned, timeless designs.
