The Satellite outdoor light Ø22 mustard gold/black is a beautiful design from 1953. The light is particularly notable for its characteristic Rigitulle lampshade. Rigitulle is a special manufacturing technique invented by the light's designer, Mathieu Matégot. It involves bending and folding a metal plate using a specific process to create an elongated shape with a unique textile-like appearance. The soft shapes of the elongated lampshade have a delicate, organic feel, which is wonderfully complemented by an asymmetrical, triangular outer lampshade that sits on the light like a hat, giving the impression of a sculptural and form-oriented designer light of high aesthetic value.
