The VP Globe is a true beauty by Verner Panton from the Golden Age of Danish lamp design. The globe is a dome made of transparent acrylic, which freezes an ‘exploded’ designer lamp with three thin strings of beads in time and space.
Inside the lamp are five reflective lampshades that reflect the light and project it outwards through the transparent dome, bathing the room in a soft, diffused glow.
Globe was designed in 1969, but it is just as beautiful today as it was back then. The legendary designer’s signature style is unmistakable, and Globe is guaranteed to make a stunning statement in your living room or kitchen, whether you hang it centrally above the table, in a corner, on its own or in a group.
